Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
October was a major push to complete general site work items while waiting for the buildingā€™s materials to be delivered. Over the month, the contractor finished installing the sanitary and storm pipe, manholes, and inlets for the project, as well as several raw water items to later facilitate the wet connection at the intake. While these items were being worked on, the electricians continued work installing the remaining duct banks and conduits to connect future equipment to existing electrical panels.
November expects to see the delivery of pumps for the raw water pump station, filtrate pump station, and high service pump station. Additionally, the filter building components will start to be delivered in late November or early December, and its construction will begin shortly thereafter. The contractor also plans to continue work on equipment pads for chemical storage tanks and equipment, water lines, and electrical items.
