October Update
In September, work consisted of installing major electrical items and supporting infrastructure for the filter building. The electrical subcontractor installed the duct bank between the operations building and proposed filter building, utilizing the standard red-colored concrete for ease of identification. Simultaneously, the general contractor continued to work on the surrounding area of the filter building. This included installing minor concrete areas such as the driveway, housekeeping pads, and solids containment areas; as well as installation of sanitary manholes and pipe and began installation of the storm drainage system.
In October and November, electrical work will continue, namely installing the other planned duct banks, as well as installation of the storm drainage system.
