August Update
Crews spent July focusing on preparing the buildingā€™s sub-foundation, work included installing all the building footers, anchors, and backfilling with stabilized bedding. Crews then moved forward with installing conduit for chemical lines and electrical feed that will be inside the building foundation slab. Crews installed portions of the 16-inch raw water line which feed into the filter building as well.
In August, the crews assembled all the formwork for the foundation slab. Crews plan to pour the concrete in the middle of the night (due to heat) in late August. Crews will then shift focus to install utilities around the outside of the filter building.
