June Update
Despite wet weather during May, both pipe trenches for the filter building have been formed and poured. In addition, the filtrate pump station’s top slab or “roof” has also been formed and is nearly completed. The Contractor has begun to install the chemical vault boxes and chlorine line to the existing pump building.
In June, the contractor plans to pour the filtrate pump station roof and begin installing its associated electrical and mechanical components. The contractor will also begin work on the filter building’s foundation footers and subgrade.
