Each month, we will provide a newsletter detailing the key projects and accomplishments from the previous month, as well as offering a glimpse into what lies ahead.
These updates will serve as a transparent and informative resource, highlighting the district’s ongoing efforts to enhance operations, improve services, and address district needs. Whether it’s infrastructure improvements or other initiatives, we want to ensure that everyone stays informed about the progress being made.
Our goal is to encourage open communication and collaboration by sharing our achievements and upcoming priorities. By doing so, we hope to keep our residents, and community members engaged and educated in the journey of continuous improvement.

February Update
In January, the surface water treatment plant contractor began onsite mobilization. They prepared a lay down site for construction materials and placed their crew’s temporary office trailer. The contractor has been working with the engineering team to go over proposed construction equipment and piping and the approved materials have been placed on order.
The piece of equipment with the longest lead time is the electrical control panel for the Purifics system. The contractor placed an order for the panel and it is estimated to be delivered in one year.
The contractor has begun to expose existing underground conduit to identify any necessary relocations to install a filtrate pump station. Due to the filtrate pump station’s proposed location, it will be the first component of the new system installed, allowing for easier construction of the building that will house the Purifics equipment. Materials to construct the pump station will begin to be delivered to the site in late February.
