Newport MUD District is transitioning to paperless billing for monthly water bills. The goal is to have every resident in Newport paperless by December 31, 2023! When every resident signs up for paperless billing, it will save the District and its residents over $2,500.00 a month. Starting in January 2024, residents who elect to keep receiving a paper bill will be billed a fee of $2.50 a month to cover the cost. Don’t have bills mailed to you! GO PAPERLESS and receive the benefits of E-STATEMENTS! The biggest benefit to signing up for paperless billing is to avoid being billed the additional $2.50 service fee. Along with receiving your water bill days ahead of the mailed paper bills, you will know immediately the status of your account and your E-statement isn’t lost in the mail.
Signing up is quick and easy!
Step 1: Visit the District website www.newportmudtx.org.
Step 2: On the homepage click on the “Billing” tab at the top.
Step 3: Click on the link for “Online Billpay”.
Step 4: Login to your account.
Step 5: Click on the Dashboard link on the top left-hand side.
Step 6: Under notifications, there is a link to select paperless billing. Click on the link and sign up.
