In an ongoing effort to keep cost down for the residents of Newport, the Board of Directors has negotiated a new credit card transaction fee.
The previous rate charged by the third-party processor was 5%. The new rate is now 3%, this charge is only for residents who pay their bill via credit card or debit card.
The fee will show as AVR on your credit card statement.
This fee is charged by the Software provider, AVR. Newport MUD does not receive any portion of this fee.
